Volunteers are part of nearly everything that happens at Midland Center, from welcoming guests at performances to helping students explore the Hall of Ideas. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to join an ongoing team, volunteering is a way to meet people, learn something new and help create meaningful experiences for our community.
Ways to Volunteer
Museum & Education Volunteers
Help students, families and guests explore art, science and history through the Hall of Ideas, field trips and hands-on programs.
Ushers & Guest Experience Volunteers
Be one of the first people guests meet when they arrive. Scan tickets, assist at will call, answer questions and help patrons find their seats before performances.
Center Stage Theatre Volunteers
Work behind the scenes on productions created by our community. Build scenery, help with costumes and props, assist with lighting or sound or join the crew that keeps each performance moving.
Special Events & Other Opportunities
Volunteer needs change throughout the year. Support special events, community programs and one-time projects or tell us about a skill you would like to share.
