Midland Symphony Orchestra
Join the musicians bringing symphonic music to our region. Midland Symphony Orchestra is holding auditions for its 2026/27 season.
Open positions / Principal Trumpet, 2nd Trumpet, 2nd Horn, 3rd Horn, Section Violin and Principal Viola.

To reserve a time / Your registration and $25 refundable deposit must be received by the deadline for your instrument. Mail checks to 1801 W. Saint Andrews, Midland, MI 48640. Checks will be returned at the conclusion of the audition.
Auditions last approximately 10 minutes and include required excerpts, solo selection(s) and possible sight-reading. A full schedule will be shared three days before each audition date.

Youth Theatre
There’s more than one way to bring a story to the stage. Youth Theatre offers opportunities in acting, singing, makeup, props, scenery and costumes.
Rehearsals are a place to learn, with workshops and activities that build skills in performance and technical theatre.
Production Arts / Behind the Scenes
Looking to get involved now? Students in grades 6–12 can explore lighting, sound, costumes, props and more, then put their new skills to work on the crew of Elf the Musical Jr.

Youth Honor Choirs
Find your voice AND the people to share it with. Young singers build their skills through music education and performance in Vocalise for grades 3–8 and Ovation for grades 9–12.

Men of Music
Bring your voice to the Center’s all-male adult ensemble. Men of Music performs a holiday concert and a spring show each year, with no audition required.
