Chorale Major Works: An Evening with Handel

Featuring one of the most performed works of all time, the Midland Center Chorale brings to mid-Michigan a performance of Handel's complete Messiah. In nearly three hours of magnificent Baroque music, Handel's score, with a libretto by Charles Jennens, portrays the biblical story of Christ's journey, from the prophecies of the Old Testament to his resurrection. This concert features the Midland Center Chorale, the Saginaw Valley State University Choirs, the Michigan Music Collective instrumental ensemble and guest soloists.
